| The Scottish branch of the G scale society visited the Strathspey Railway on Sunday 24th.October. I can recommend a visit and a meal on the train between Aviemore and Broomhill, AKA Glenbogle. Here is newly restored Caledonian Railway 828, our train engine, in action. |

On my travels recently, this time in Germany during the last week in August. I visited the Rugen Railway, the Harz Railway, the suspension railway in Wupertal and in between used DB trains. Couple of pictures here with more to follow. |

| PIKO have introduced this very nice model of the Harz railway class 199 diesel locomotive. This is a standard gauge engine which towers over the HSB narrow gauge coaches. A nice model. |

Important train announcements: 27th October - Ongoing website tidy up. New PIKO HSB diesel in stock.29th March Aristo class 66s now available again. Also here are the pairs of intermodal containers, ECS, DHL an Malcolm. 4th March Now available, G scale Thomas the Tank Engine from Bachmann. I have some here already. The range includes Thomas, Percy, Annie, Clarabel, Truck#1 and Truck #2. Engines about £105, coaches and trucks about £75. pair. Train sets are available but they have tinplate track. I can supply them with brass track added. 30th January - some new full sized pictures from York at the NRM on my full sized trains page 7th January - Two new motve power units. From USA I just got a few of the Brekina VW rail vans at £145 - red and £165 -yellow AND anothe DB loco, a V£ small switcher from Liliput. This is Liliput's first G scale locomotive and is based on the Bachmann US amall diesel released last year - £110 10th November - PIKO again. This time a DV diesel. Very heavy and good detail with directional LED lights at £245. More pictures on the PIKO page. AND new Bachmann 0n30 2-6-6-2 articulated loco with DCC and DCC/sound on the 0n30 page 16th.October - PIKO again with the 0-6-0Tank released on it's own at £145. Several improvements on the set version.Check the PIKO steam loco 22nd September - As a start to changing my website I have added a new page showing narrow gauge railways.
