I have decided to do Vi-trains as they are imported by one of my G scale suppliers. I usually have some in stock and I can order or pre-order all the current or forthcoming locomotives

Vi-trains are 00 models of (so far) two UK mainline diesel locomotives. They are beautifully detailed and reports from customers are of smooth running. They are DCC ready with an 8 pin interface. I can supply Bachmann decoders for about £10 (fitted).

Vi-trains first model is the English-Electric class 37. These are nice models and are available in many liveries - around £65

Vi-trains do several class 47 locos - currently about £75
