Scottish Garden Railways - Closed lines and last trains

The last train on the remains of the Aberdeen Glasgow line. On the 5th. June 1982 English Electric class 40 number 40 143 ran twice from Perth to Forfar. The first of these two trains is seen in the remains of Forfar Station just before leaving. This area is now a housing estate, all the line is closed and lifted and the class 40 and its mark 1 coaches all scrapped.
