45170 not really in steam
Arrived at Bo'ness, home of the Scottish Railway Preservation Society on Saturday 15th November 2014 is this North British Glasgow built LMS/Turkish Railways 8F 2-8-0 locomotive 45170. The picture suggests it might be in steam but this is not the case as the vapour is being supplied by Austerity 0-6-0T number 19 which was moving 45170 around the station. To help with the restoration and to find out more about 45170 you can check the appeal web page . You can now see this locomotive in the Museum of Scottish Railways at Bo'ness

Scottish Garden Railways will not be available from Thursday 9th June through Saturday 11th June but you can email or call me on 07914347473
